Embrace Who You Are Or Fail

I was cruising around on Facebook to see what some other online marketers are doing and also just to keep tabs on my own personal team to make sure they are heading in the right direction.

I saw two distinct marketing styles that you could generally categorize each person to and I noticed that one group was successful and one was not.

Here’s what I found out…

The Two Styles Of Marketing Out There Today

1) “The I’m Doing What I Thought I Was Suppose To” Person

If you look at this person’s Facebook wall, you will see a lot of blatant promotions and links. For example, “Lose weight in 10 minutes… link.” Then you look at the number of comments and likes and it’s minimal to none.

Or you will see them talking in some foreign language only familiar to those that they are not after. If you were not a network marketer would you have any idea what you are talking about?

This person acts and talks as if they normally would but with a slight spin to their tongue. They interweave what they do and promote into their natural language because what they promote IS who they are.

Let me say that again “What they promote IS who they are.”

Everything else that a person would get is just a bonus.

The Results

Those that were authentically themselves and put their real being into what they promoted were the most successful. They didn’t try to hide who they were. Often times the most POWERFUL story you have is who you are and where you came from.

Don’t hide it.

It was interesting, because even on the walls of those that were “Doing what they thought they were suppose to,” when they put out a status update about something from their life or what was going on then they would get a lot of likes and comments.

Compare that to when they put out a link saying “Lose weight in 10 minutes with this simple pill… link” and get silence.

Your market is trying to tell you something… HINT! HINT!

The Secret

Everyone is always looking for a way to separate themselves from the marketplace but they think it’s their product. Stop talking about how unique your product is because guess what?

There are other people that sell your same product…

Your unique selling point is YOU. That’s what makes people decide to join and work with you.

Don’t fear yourself… SHOW THE WORLD WHO YOU ARE!
